We already cache and in more than one way. Just not in the way you propose.
You are already caching newest nodes and RAT and saints in our book?
I can tell from our forum that the "latest 24h threads" page is by far the most requested page, so it makes much sense to cache it. Is it the same here with the newest nodes page?
