Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi.

I got a site, and I'm planning on redesigning it.

What will happen is that the sections, which are plain html files, will change into Perl scripts so that the site will have more dynamic capabilities.

Basically, almost all the site will end up being on Perl.

I got one question though...

Is mod_perl (my server runs it) powerful enough to handle such a thing?

Ralph :)

Yes. For a tiny example of what mod_perl can do, see this site. Or this one. Or maybe this one.

      Hi.

Thanks a lot to all of you for your replies!! :)

I found them really useful :)

So it seems like mod_perl is super powerful!!

That's cool! I'll be using that for the redesign of my site :)

By the way... My site is www.argenteen.com . It's in spanish, cause it's an entertainment site for argentine teens.

      Thanks for everything! :)

      Ralph.
