I had been a windows system engineer for the past 10 years, and have a solid understanding of c#, vb.net, vbs, and powershell. Recently i changed position and found myself needing to use perl to monitor web functionality, both subjects that are not my expertise. So I short I am a real noob to this, I have about 3 weeks under my belt and have been having some difficulty finding the correct modules or methods to accomplish was i am trying to do.
