sedusedan has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Not sure if I should ask here, but...

What would be the proper forum to ask for help regarding (reviewing) translation? In my particular case, I want to create a Chinese and French translations for my module (mainly to test UTF-8 output). I know a tiny bit of Mandarin and French, but absolutely need other people to review the translations.

PrePAN (probably not)? Questhub? Twitter? Here (which section)? Personal blog? IRC?

I absolutely agree that this is a good place to improve the perl documentation. Is 100% perl relevant. A good module documentation / good examples can save many hours to a lot of us; a poorly documented module can be useless, so, why not?.

Translation questions or not, probably we could improve also the original manual if we discuss here the module. If you want to add spanish to your docs I'll be glad to help with this

Hi, I was an English-French translator for about 15 years before I graduated in IT and eventually became an IT consultant. I am not going to commit anything before I see the size of the document, but I can probably review your French version if the job's size is reasonable. (For Mandarin, sorry, I won't be able to help you. ;-) )
