in reply to double clock in tick tock
Hi parv. Welcome to the monastery. This site is dedicated to Perl not Web Design. Perl is a high priority. Window dressing is a low one. FYI most of us here find the site perfectly functional for its desired purpose. I can understand if some monks take offense at someone who has been here all of a day and now deems themselves fully qualified to suggest changes to the site which, at the end of the day, make SFA difference to its function as a popular potal to all things Perl.
PM is moderated by its users so if you say something that most people disagree with you will find you accumutate negative gold stars and get told to stand in the corner, just like in 1st grade. So far you have a lot to say about site design and very little about Perl. A significant number of monks donate their time freely to maintain it.
Here is a little advice. Have a read of New Monks and the bit about asking questions. Make your next post Perl related. If your browser does not render the site to your liking get a new one - they are freely available. Oh and if you don't like the clock nodelet why not just turn it off.
cheers
tachyon
