in thread double clock in tick tock

thanks tye for the detailed explanation.

i did notice that some time strings are in user specified format, some are not. i would have asked about that too. given the overwhelming theme of Obliterate Anything You Do Not Like Without Comment, i did not. and you have already answered that question too.

as to jumping to conclusion... how would i have known about two time strings even after a month without asking the question?

as long as my somewhat thick skin does not totally wear out and i get relevant replies to queries, i will remain a regiesterd user.

Believe it or not, sometimes people figure things out without being told. (: I won't tell you exactly how I would have figured that out without being told; I'll let you figure it out. :)

But let me repeat for emphasis something I said before:

If you have similar questions in the future, you might have more luck asking in the chatterbox

Good luck with that skin condition (it can be quite a problem when using the internet) and, again, welcome.

P.S. Yes, I know some of the on-line help for the site is out of date or incomplete. The people who do that don't get paid either and have real lives as well. But my master plan to light a fire under their collective butts is near completion...
