I'm having issues with a program that uses GD::Barcode::QRcode when it's packaged with perl2exe. Here's a minimal program that illustrates the problem:
use strict;
use GD::Barcode::QRcode;
use GD;
my $qr = GD::Barcode::QRcode->new("testing 123", {Ecc => 'M', Version
+=> 5, ModuleSize => 6});
open JPG, ">qrcode.jpg";
binmode JPG;
print JPG $qr->plot()->jpeg(100);
close JPG
When interpreted, it generates the correct QR code block. When run from a perl2exe-generated .exe, it generates a correctly-sized and -formatted block, but with none of the data bits.
Using Perl2Exe V8.40 with Perl 5.8.4 (ActivePerl build 810) under Win XP.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
