Hey
Everyone!
I came up with this (IMO) cool idea to create some totally new icons with labels like 'Powered by PerlMonks' or 'Powered by Everything' or 'Powered by Perl' so that people here at the monastary could have little bumper stickers of art goodness. I was discussing it in the CB for a while, before posting this, and have been considering it for a while, since I am a graphics artist, and love to create purposeful and useful art for people!
So I was wondering if it was a great idea or not, and if so, if anyone else would like to help me create a small collection of these icons possibly, and then we could be like the creators of these collections or something, and distribute them freely to anyone here that wanted to use them on their home node, or even on other sites, provided that there is no copyright problems or anything by using the names 'Everything' and 'Perl Monks' etc.
If you are interested in this idea and would like to help me out, please either reply to this node, or /msg
bladx sometime and let me know what you think! If you think it's just a good idea, but don't want to make any, that's fine too! It's just an idea, and I hope it would be popular someday, for the finer side of the art that Perl deserves. :)
