Personally, I like the idea of having a primary link to CPAN and secondary link to metaCPAN. I might be old-fashioned and prefer CPAN, but I admit that the recent amount of downtime for CPAN is annoying.

You must always remember that the primary goal is to drain the swamp even when you are hip-deep in alligators.
