Credit where credit is due -- AI is pretty awesome at analysis. I'm a lot less impressed with how it works as an automated developer.

Giving an AI full access to a repo -- madness. A much better approach would be to tell it to submit a PR, and have that PR reviewed by a human. The feedback to that PR would help the AI going forward. And I know that some people are using AI to get work done -- props on that. If it's work that 100% has to be reviewed and checked, I'm not sure how much further ahead you are.

As of June 2025, Groklaw is back! This site was a really valuable resource in the now ancient fight between SCO and Linux. As it turned out, SCO was all hat and no cattle.Thanks to PJ for all her work, we owe her so much. RIP -- 2003 to 2013.
