My efforts to learn NixOS and Nix led to this small Nix/Perl project, which I enjoy quite a bit: p-gadget. There is a short manual on how to use it on the start page. Since the code is quite extensive and spread across several files, I didn't want to publish it directly here. Sorry for the inconvenience.
