Any ideas; or is there another cut of this patch?

This has been discussed at https://github.com/StrawberryPerl/Perl-Dist-Strawberry/issues/259.
I think that the patch provided in https://github.com/StrawberryPerl/Perl-Dist-Strawberry/issues/259#issuecomment-2987915743 might do the trick.
But I'm not sure.

I would prefer that you send any follow-up on this to that Strawberry Perl thread, as I find perlmonks is frequently inaccessible to me.
