In my Linux setup, the two things I need are the $ENV{ORACLE_HOME} = '/path/to/oracle'; and the following database handle

with the SID information placed in the network/admin/tnsnames.ora file

Sometimes I can think of 6 impossible LDAP attributes before breakfast.
