Being somewhat unclear just what the protocol might be in these waters, I post this as a new query instead of some sort of follow-up to a previous post
Having successfully installed Strawberry perl, upon advice I attempted to install Tk via 'cpan Tk'. this resulted in some lines of gibberish seemingly indicating that things were going well until...
Updating database file ...
Done!Warning: Cannot install Tk, don't know what it is.
Try the command
i \tk\
to find matching identifiers.
I have no idea just what 'i\tk\' is supposed to do but, on my tackle, it's not recognized as a legitimate command.
Upon other advice I downloaded what appears to be Tk from bribes.com which gave me a tar file with over 2200 files in it. I have no idea just what I should do with this.
I tried some other recommendations, none of which worked. So here I sit, in need of Tk or a reasonable facsimile thereof and finding it thus far beyond my admittedly rather tenuous grasp. Please help.
Understand that anything smelling of systems programming is to me what a cross is to a vampire. I've always had a staff to deal with those sorts of things, so be gentle.
