ou are here to say you're not valued, or not valued rightly

I never said I wasn't valued. I suggested that it felt devalued; which is not the same thing.

And it's not me that is devalued, it is the value of my vote for you and your vote for me and everyone's vote for everyone.

I said, way back in that other thread that "It sucks, but c'est la vie". I know it ain't gonna change and and I wouldn't waste my time trying to change it. I long ago gave up trying to suggest any change to this (barely) living fossil of a site. Completely pointless to even talk about it.

This meditation was simply my frustration at watching the sheep -- all also affected both in the way the site (randomly) (de)values their votes and (de)"rates" them -- flying to the defense of the status quo: EVEN THOUGH NO ONE HAD SUGGESTED OR ASKED FOR CHANGE!.

Of course, for the usual suspects, it's just an opportunity to have a go at me personally; but some of those that chose to come out against the change (that was never asked for nor suggested) don't fit that category.

With the rise and rise of 'Social' network sites: 'Computers are making people easier to use everyday'
Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
"Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority". I knew I was on the right track :)
In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice.
