I thought one of the purposes of the meditations page was to have meditations.

The purpose of Meditations is explained at the top of the page, as well as in Where should I post X?. As discussed in How do I change/delete my post?, please mark updates to your nodes (Update: of which there have now been several) as such. And please don't shout, this is a monastery :-)
