Well someone was bound to prey on the Perl Journal name once it was declared dead by Sys-Admin, frankly I'm surprised it took as long as this (though I'm cynical by nature).

Unless the Perl Review is supported in the same way that this site is supported (by the users I mean) then this sort of thing will have a larger lifespan. Personally, I'd say leave the site as is, perhaps sending feedback on the way to do things properly and point the site owners to this site. Positive feedback like that may encourage them to improve their content.

As for me, I'm going to re-read the last few Perl Reviews and see how I can help out there. Why not do the same?

Your site looks nice and its good to see someone making an effort to advocate Perl. However, perhaps you should take a look at these sites (listed below) to point you in the direction of better resources for your readership.

I don't know if you know but there is a much better resource for free CGI scripts than the Mats Archive. For that I suggest you look at the following site:

Even Mat recommends these scripts now rather than his own.
