No No No, when I insert it in, everthing after the quotes is deleted!

Have you verified that? When last we left this issue, I'd recommended that you manually inspect the database, rather than waiting until you'd generated HTML from it. Did you? Was data truncated in the database?

Update: andrew confirmed by /msg that the data in the database was O.K.
