Hotmail is a tricky one...
I'd suggest making an authenticated formmail, that you can access and host somewhere private... I think that you should perhaps try to implement something like APOP authentication. The reason for this is that hotmail will probably change a lot, and has heaps of cookie stuff, and passport stuff, and whatever... Perhaps newmail.net can also be of help, as it's interface has not changed since 1997, and it's simple...

If you want me to have fun making an APOP derived authenticator, lemme know, because i think it'll be fun.
