It's pretty sad when, after a year's absence from this site, the hottest topic of debate is still experience points and/or the loss of them. You can be a totally inept programmer and still accumulate thousands of points by selectively responding to posts. I would hope that one day people are more interested in the quality/usefulness of their posts (and the site) than in how many "points" they happen to have.
