People with limited skills in a foreign language often phrase things in an unfortunate manner. skyler is clearly not a native speaker of English. His/her short, abrupt sentences reflect incomplete mastery of English sentence structure and verb modes. They may also reflect cultural values. (Rauchen verboten 'smoking forbidden', as opposed to Prier de ne pas fumer 'you are requested to not smoke'.)

That said, he might learn something from your response and be more careful in the future. I had the same thought as you did before it occurred to me that his terseness was probably unintentional. Clearly, we're not the only ones who felt that way.

Oh, and another, more minor thing: It's cool that you give reasons for downvoting. =)
