Esteemed monks, i require your assistance.
I have written a perl program which uses WWW::Mechanize. I am using a "post" method. But while executing i am getting the following error.
The piece of code that it points to
$request =POST "http://www.abc.com/ChooseZone.aspx?type=A" , [
'__EVENTTARGET' => "rdlZone_0",
'__EVENTARGUMENT' => "",
'__VIEWSTATE' => "dDw0NzUyOTE0NzQ7",
'rdlZone' => "1",
] ;
The error is as below
String found where operator expected at stats.plx line 18, near "POST
+"http://www.abc.com/ChooseZone.aspx?type=A""
(Do you need to predeclare POST?)
syntax error at stats.plx line 18, near "POST "http://www.abc.com/Choo
+seZone.aspx?type=A""
Please assist
Note: the code was generated by a javascript monitoring proxy program
UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED
Posts are HTML formatted. Put <p> </p> tags around your paragraphs. Put <code> </code> tags around your code and data!
Titles consisting of a single word are discouraged, and in most cases are disallowed outright.
Read Where should I post X? if you're not absolutely sure you're posting in the right place.
Please read these before you post! —
Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags:
