Sorry, but I had to "--" you for your pigheadedness. The OP had a question that included code he had tried that did not work. He wanted help and technically that is one of the things this site provides. We could go around answering almost every question with "read perldoc perlblah" but what would be the point of this community then? Try not to lose perspective from way up there. :)
