OK, this is not really a perl question. But whenever I have a programming question, I *always* post it here. So forgive me, I really don't have a place to go.

I have a forum that I would like to 'get going'. It's already up and I've made a few posts. I have a friend that is helping me, but how does one really get a forum going? Have any of you had successful forums? If so, how do I get a lot of threads/post on the forum? I don't think that people will come to the forum and post if it is empty with barely any threads. How does one do this?

Thank you so much perlmonks!
