All, How to view the default error thrown by PERL instead of the error message given by the developer.

I am trying to execute a query in PERL. But it is not getting executed and displaying the message provided by me.

$result->execute() or print "\n Cannot xcute qry\n";

But I want to see the error returned by PERL. Thanks for your help. Regards,
