Hi,
I am having the folder log and having files named
total 4 -rw-r--r-- 1 sreesha staff 148 Jun 27 17:51 log-469 -rw-r--r-- 1 sreesha staff 126 Jun 28 09:54 log-471
I want to check if the any file created in the time 200606271751(i.e 2006/06/27 17:51) in that folder.If the file found in this time stamp,I have to print"File is available" otherwise I have to print'File is not available".
My code is given below,
opendir dhandle,"log"; @dots = grep { /^log/ } readdir(dhandle); for $item(@dots) { @files=`ls -l $item`; print @files; }
But here I am getting the ouptut like
-rw-r--r-- 1 sreesha staff 148 Jun 27 17:51 log-469
From this i cant take the year and month by yyyymmdd since the year is not found and month in Jun.How can i get it.
Thanks.
