Using template toolkit i would do something like
Perl
my @table_a = table1->search_all();
my @table_b = table2->seatch_all();
Pass both the the template
name is the name column of the table
Template file
[% FOREACH item IN table_a %]
[% bold = "off" %]
[% FOREACH other_item IN table_b %]
[% IF (item.name == other_item.name) %]
<p><b>[% item.name %]</b></p>
[% bold = "on" %]
[% END %]
[% END %]
[% IF bold == "off" %]
<p>[% item.name %]</p>
[% END %]
[% END %]
That should output what is required
