Woah...

I'm also from Seattle and sandals+socks is totally normal here. If I don't have nice shoes and I'm going to a wedding, I just find nice socks to go in my sandals. Seriously. I don't think I'd do that for a funeral though. (Hmm.. I think I've found the fundamental difference between a wedding and a funeral...) I never would have thought anyone found sandals+socks strange if I hadn't read this.

Also, if you show up for a job interview with a tie on around here, people think you just graduated from night school.
