Has anyone used perl in conjunction with an acrobat module/program (on windows) to homogenize disparate versions of source files? I have a packager program that seems to flunk when the versions are different. I have no control over the creation of the documents so I would like to crawl a directory nightly and update versions. Perl seems like a good tool for this but I need help with handling and evaluating pdf files.
