Very true, also the compatibility of the DBA with others DBAs counts. This is one reason I prefer sticking to the plain, flat systems. We use cache and automated system restores for DB files, and so far so well.
Anyway, thanks for your view on this issue, just my 2 cents, I am not too sure that essentialism is the answer for everything (again, just generally speaking). It does however make life easy in fast decisions making very often. Long term speaking requires a complex analysis of one owns needs when selecting a CMS.
