I'm still new to developing PERL on Win32. Everything I've done up to this point was on Solaris/IRIX.
I've been mucking around with the distributions for the platform. Assuming for a moment that I can't make NMAKE & MKS work togther to save my life...
What are the opinions of the Bretheren?
IndigoPerl or ActiveState?
Personally I'm torn. I have read that you can't use mod_perl with ActiveState. Is this still true!?
I also, have had problems getting Tk working using IndigoPerl, where it seems to work fairly well using ActiveState.
I humbly ask, is there a clear preference, or do I run one installation each on two machines & pray that the modules are available for both when I use them in my code?
Wait! This isn't a Parachute, this is a Backpack!
