* It's possible to mitigate the issue somewhat if PM were to use cookies valid for the entire second-level domains perlmonks.com and perlmonks.org instead of four separate single-hostname cookies. There would still be two separate cookie domains, though, so the dynamic link rewriting would still be the way to go.
