Hi all, I am a beginner in using PERL script. I know basic stuff about perl programming also I wrote some script for my project but not used the socket & perlipc. I want to write a script to meet the below requirement: 1.Log file running on TERA TERM. 2.Need to watch the log file from the TERA TERM and send a command through CANALZER if a particular sequence happened. 3.After sending a command through CANALYZER I will be playing some prompt say “I am doing ok” each time. Since I am not familiar with IO::SOCKET usage in perl it would be great if you could share some base code related to this requirement or the code which meets this requirement. I will use this as a base and shape as per my requirement. Looking eagerly for your early reply. Thanks, Sathish
