You know, it's not like people have not asked about things like this before. And we also usually learn some things every time the hardware is upgraded or e.g. the recent outage where MySQL took a couple days to recover from some form of corruption. So basically, any monk that has been on here for a long time and follows PerlMonks Discussion should have a general idea of the situation.
