I would like to access through perl the information contained on the alerts of an Excel file. For example when I try to open my file which is networked I get an alert if someone has it open. I would like to retrieve the user name of the person who has it open. I have been looking everywhere for a solution to this problem to no avail. Any help would be really appreciated it.
