My Spreadsheet::Read comes with ss2tk in the examples folder, which displays all spreadsheets supported by Spreadsheet::Read in perl/Tk.

$ ss2tk --help
usage: ss2tk [-w <width>] [X11 options] file.xls [<pattern>]
       -w <width> use <width> as default column width (4)
