I've had it with what seems to be put-downs on code that Monks are sharing, by people who are simply attacking it with no code of their own.
It is unfair, uncalled for, and unjustified.
Any Monk who posts code that is attempting to help out a fellow (especially new) Monk should be criticized respectfully... that means SHOWING CODE that explains how their code is broken.
These ridiculous attempts lately to criticize with nothing more than babble is not only embarrassing, it is harmful to the community.
I love PerlMonks, but I'm at the point where I want to say *show code, or shut the Fsck Up*
