If you want to point out a problem, provide a fix/patch for an issue you know exists or bring awareness of the community to an issue I applaud and encourage that. If there is something on cpan which has security problems, surely it's in the interests of everyone to be aware of the issue?

I'm not sure if you're claiming to be a pushy control freak, or that I am, that's perhaps too far off topic and merits it's own discussion (or not :P).
