I have a bit of a predicament. I have forgotten my password for my login and the password reminder is not sending me a reminder. The most likely reason is that the email address is one that has since been retired, probably a @mediaoneexpress.com or @home.net. Is there an administrator that can update my profile?

For the future, check out Password Safe by Bruce Schneier. It uses blowfish encryption to store your passwords. You give it your safe combo and it allows you to double-click an entry to load the password into the clipboard. Closing the program securely deletes your password from memory. I still use the 1.7.1 version. It's a windows program but I have gotten it to run through Wine on Linux. Apparently, there is a 2.x version on sourceforge as well as a version for Linux. I have not used either of those versions.

While I never keep my high risk passwords (administration passwords, bank access, etc.) in this tool, I do use it for those websites which I don't often frequent or which save an access cookie for me. You never know when that cookie will get deleted accidently.

I'd send an email to vroom (vroom@blockstackers.com). Provide your username and the email address(es) you think is probably attached to your account. If possible, give him some piece of information that only you'd know about your account to prove it's you: perhaps a unique user setting you use or the like...

I'd register a new account and use it to "/msg gods" with that information and not hold my breath (in part because there isn't much that falls into "some piece of information that only you'd know about your account" that gods can verify -- something about the type of password, the e-mail address, the 'realname' you used, perhaps where you last used it from, some unique user setting).
