    I can't find evidence of a client-only distribution except for Windows. That doesn't say you didn't.... Oracle seems to think 10g server Enterprise Edition (10.1.0.3) (which includes a client) is certified with SLES8. YMMV with other versions - Oracle expects you to toe the line or figure it out yourself :)
      So are you saying that I can't? I have to install the whole Oracle ?
