Um, what is this all about? Maybe it would help if you told us what environment you are working in, because it seems you are using modules which are not 'use'd in the code we see so we have no idea how to respond. jdtoronto	[reply]

The methods appears to be from something called "CQPerlExt" which is an API to Rational ClearQuest and apparently has no online documentation available except for this article. "What should it profit a man, if he should win a flame war, yet lose his cool?"	[reply]
