Whilst there are Perlish ways of getting at what you want, you will need to do your own research. This is not a DSL or SNMP forum - the knowledge you seek should be fairly easilly found on a site like dslreports.com. In fact most DSL and cable modems do support SNMP, this is how the cable or phone company knows what gear you have and knows how to configure it.
