I am urgently looking forward to the time that the AI models I get to interact with are designed to learn from that interaction.

The most rewarding aspect of my career in programming was when I got to mentor junior programmers, and set them on the path to becoming experts in their own right. I am full of optimism for the potential of AI in our future lives - but only as human-like entities, capable to learn. When learning-enabled AIs are available I will happily spend my time to encourage them to write better quality code; until that time it is like trying to teach a calculator.
