in reply to Perlmonks.com and Perlmonks.net to redirect to Perlmonks.org

As a result, it will no longer be possible to have different login sessions on different domains. If you have multiple logins you use (and I recognize that exceedingly few people do), you will need to literally log out and log in with a different set of credentials to switch.

Consequently, the Domain Nodelet will be retired.

    What about www.perlmonks.org vs perlmonks.org ?

I occasionally need to check the anonymous view of the current page.

If the distinction of subdomains of .org is kept, so please keep a reduced Domain Nodelet too.

I occasionally need to check the anonymous view of the current page.

There are plenty of options for that. In probably decreasing order of user-friendliness:

      • Private Browsing Window
      • Different browser profile
      • Different browser entirely
      • Different client machine entirely
      • Log out and then back in again when done

Thanks, this works recently well, with a little trick:😀

A right click/long touch on the [id://...] offers "Open in private tab" for me...

So no extra copy/pasting needed 👍🏻
