Personal info:

A not-so-old COBOL programmer who moved on to bigger/better things (and then got drug back in). Well, maybe not bigger, as they don't get much bigger than Big Blue, but still better.

Currently working for a small telephony company doing various tasks - unfortunately, only a little bit of it in Perl.

2003-2004: Back to COBOL on an AS/400
2001-2003: Yet more Perl, but now on an NT box
1998-2001: Back to Sybase and UNIX, first intro to Perl :)

1993-1995: Sybase DBA (sort of) and UNIX - talk about being dropped in the deep end...
