traincity has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi.. I have downloaded strawberry to use perl on my localhost. Part of the instructions show to run perl\bin\perl.exe relocation.pl.bat It is nowhere to be found on the strawberry I installed! It is not in the bin directory. Am I doing something wrong or is this just something they forgot to include in the newest strawberry download? Any help will be appreciated.

Perhaps you downloaded a different edition than the ZIP edition. Since I usually use the "portable" edition, I know it doesn't have a relocation script, instead you start it via the portableshell.bat - the same should be true for the PDL edition.

In case it's really the ZIP edition, I'd assume it should be either perl.exe relocation.pl (without ".bat"), or relocation.bat (without .pl and without explicitly calling perl.exe, as that would be called from within the .bat file)

What instructions are you speaking of? A link would be very helpful.
