Why switch from 5 zto 7 when we can switch to Perl 32, much like Java did?

Perl 32 sounds like Perl for old 32-bit processors. "Where is the 64 bit Perl edition?"

    If I had seen this back in 2019 I would have suggested that it won't be long before Perl passes through the magic number 32...of course, now it has and this is no longer a concern.
