I've recently noticed (and confirmed that others also see what I see) that the 'Search' function is not working the way it used to.

Under the new specification, it apparently returns only exact matches to your query. If there is no node by the same name as your query, it returns only the CPAN search box.

Super Search appears unchanged though.

(BTW, is this a bug?)

I would say this is a bug. I just thrashed around trying to find help for Compress::Zlib. The search gave nothing at all. I nearly posted a SoPW, but thought I'd give Super Search a whirl. It turned up examples using Compress::Zlib ? which is exactly what I needed.

It turns out I solved my problem, so I posted a note there, otherwise I would have added a new node. Which would have garnered me more XP, but I'm a firm believer in reviving old nodes.
