i think -nph line was the problem when i commented that it has no errors..but instead playing the video it is prompting a dialog to save the that file.

UPDATE: I commented the -attachment line.. `-attachment => $attachment,` [download] Now i can able to play the video.	[reply] [d/l]

attachment or no attachment, vlc plays it fine for me	[reply]
