There will be a meeting of some local monks at the Exploratorium in San Francisco on Jan 1, 2003 at 6PM. This is a "Free Wednesday" so there is no charge for admission.

Here are directions. I have always been able to find plenty of free parking in the Exploratorium's parking lot.

No agenda, no firm plans of any sort yet, but the Exploratorium is always interesting anyway. Reply to this node or msg toma if you want more info.

There is also a meeting of the San Francisco Robotics Society of America that night at the Exploratorium at 7PM. I think their meeting room will be open before 7:00, so we should be able to find each other by meeting at 6:00 in the same room that they use. I'll call the Exploratorium to make sure that's okay.

    I'll be there (i'll even bring a friend).

    We ought to make some plans (like an exibit which is a must to visit). Reason is, in case anyone shows up a little late, they know where to look ;)

    If the Exploratorium allows us to bring food/drink, put me down for some napkins *rimshot*

    The Exploratorium changed their hours, so we can't meet at the time that I set before. If someone has an idea for another place to meet, let me know. Consider it canceled unless something new gets set up.

    Sorry! My fault.

    New plan:
    We will meet at the Tied House in San Jose at 4:30 on Saturday, December 28. I'm buying beer(*) for monks who show up then.

    (*) Restrictions:

    1. Monk has node id is less than 222650,
    2. is at least 21,
    3. wants to drink beer!
    It should work perfectly the first time!
